Artificial Intelligence in Municipal Administration: Vectors of Development

Current trends of digital transformation show that artificial intelligence is one of the most relevant and popular digital technologies, which is used to solve a wide range of problems related to the practice of public administration and the provision of municipal services. Artificial intelligence is becoming more and more popular both in public administration and in the practice of organizing the work of local governments, in the development and implementation of plans for the efficient use of municipal resources. The aim of the study is to determine the main vectors of the introduction of artificial intelligence in the practice of municipal government based on the analysis of foreign experience of digital transformations. Research methods. Comparative analysis has been used to study the experience of implementing digital artificial intelligence technology in countries that are leaders in the digitization of public administration and the development of GovTech. The structural-functional method has been used to determine the main vectors of the use of artificial intelligence in municipal government. The results of the study showed the wide world practice of using artificial intelligence in the sphere of municipal government and the latest opportunities for its implementation in the practice of local self-government in Ukraine. Conclusions. Digital transformation of control, based on artificial intelligence, can be recognized as such one only as a result of full-scale digitization of the entire data set. collected and used in public administration, automation of this process and radical increase of data processing by artificial intelligence technologies that will significantly improve the quality of work, both municipal and government agencies.
